Creating shorcuts in Windows 7 using the Pin feature.

Windows 7 gives you a new way to add shortcuts to the Start Menu and the Taskbar.
Whenever you see a program in the program list and would like to create a shortcut, simply right-click on the item and in the shortcut menu you will see an option to either pin the program to the Start Menu or the Taskbar.
If you pick Start Menu, you will later see the program as a shortcut in the top of the start menu. If you pick the taskbar, the program will appear as an icon in the Taskbar. This basically replaces the old Quick Launch toolbar.
Pinned programs will remain pinned until you right-click on the item (in either the Start Menu or the Taskbar) and choose an un-pin command.
So, save your desktop for cool wallpaper images and put all your shortcuts in the Start Menu or Taskbar!
