Saving PowerPoint Slides as Pictures

PowerPoint allows you to save slides as pictures. This might come in handy if you need to put a slide on a web page, or incorporate a slide into a publication. 

To do this, in PowerPoint 2007, click on the Office Button and then click Save As... When the Save As dialog opens, click on the Save as Type dropdown. Among various file formats, towards the bottom of the list you will find various picture formats, such as .gif, .jpg, .png etc. Choose the formate appropriate for your needs and then just save it like you would any other file.
