The Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) designation is a professional certification for individuals with extensive business analysis (BA) experience. With a minimum of 7500 hours of hands-on BA experience, CBAP® recipients are the elite, senior members of the BA community. With thousands of individuals all over the world achieving the CBAP® designation since the first Certified Business Analysis exam was held in November 2006, CBAP® recipients are experts in identifying the business needs of an organization in order to determine the best solutions. More and more companies are recognizing the CBAP® designation and the value and expertise these professionals bring to their organizations.

The certification exam is currently only offered in English. Other languages may be included in the future.
You do not need to be an IIBA member in order to take the certification examination, but IIBA members receive discounts on certification exam fees.
About this Course
MicroTrain’s 3-day Certified Business Analysis - IIBA exam prep instructor-led course is designed to teach the business analysis framework necessary for success on the CBAP exam and on the job. Exam Eligibility Requirements
Minimum of 35 hours in the last 4 years ** ** This course provides 24 business analysis education hours. You must take additional training courses such as ITIL, Lean Six Sigma or Agile Certified Scrum Master in order to fulfill IIBA's 35-hour professional development requirement
Tips for Exam Success
This is an intensive exam preparation course, so students should not expect the class to end early. Classes are expected to start and end promptly and students who arrive late or leave early will miss exam-related information.

- Complete or mostly complete your CBAP® exam application. The best way to prepare and submit your application is to do so online at IIBA's website
- Members of IIBA have access to a free copy of the BABOK Guide online. Students are advised to read the BABOK Guide prior to class.
