Certified Change Management Professional™ (CCMP™)

Who Should Apply?

If you’re an experienced practitioner who applies best practices in change management, regardless of your title, then the  Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification exam is the right choice for you.

To qualify for taking the CCMP examination, a 200-question, multiple-choice test, you need to meet the following experience and education requirements:

• A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent).
• 7,000 hours (5 years) of change management experience.
• 21 hours of instructor-led (classroom or online) change management training*

OR

• Four-year degree (or global equivalent).
• 4,200 hours (3 years) of change management experience.
• 21 hours of instructor-led (classroom or online) change management education *

* This course satisfies the required 21 contact hours of formal change management education. 

Tips for Exam Success

• In preparation for the best success in earning the CCMP certification, take these steps before the course begins:
  • Create a profile in the ACMP candidate management system.
  • Read the CCMP Handbook which contains information about obtaining and maintaining the CCMP credential.
