Prerequisites
If you’re an experienced practitioner who applies best practices in change management, regardless of your title, then the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification exam is the right choice for you.
To qualify for taking the CCMP examination, a 200-question, multiple-choice test, you need to meet the following experience and education requirements:
- A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent).
- 7,000 hours (5 years) of change management experience.
- 21 hours of instructor-led (classroom or online) change management training*
OR
- Four-year degree (or global equivalent).
- 4,200 hours (3 years) of change management experience.
- 21 hours of instructor-led (classroom or online) change management education *
* This course satisfies the required 21 contact hours of formal change management education.
