About this Course
This 5-day course provides an introduction to the fundamental building blocks of VMware’s vSphere data center virtualization, products, technologies, and solutions within the VMware Cloud Foundation and Cross-Cloud Architecture, setting the foundation for a career as a certified professional with the ability to manage small, medium, and large-scale cloud infrastructures. On the last day of class, students will take the VMware Certified Associate Exam and be prepared to pursue more advanced certification on VMware technologies
Prerequisite: Systems Administration experience on Microsoft Windows or Linux operating systems

- Be able to describe, install, and configure many VMware products, technologies, and solutions within the VMware Cloud Foundation and Cross-Cloud Architecture including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and the vRealize Suite
- Be able to analyze, design and propose solutions for customers using VMware
- Be able to explain data center virtualization concepts and identify typical data center challenges
- Practice on a robust testing platform to prepare for certification

Exam Details
Exam: VWware Certified Technical Associate-Data Center Virtualization (VCTA-DCV2021)
The VCTA-DCV certification holder has a basic understanding of virtualization and vSphere concepts. The certification holder also demonstrates knowledge of data center technology and basic troubleshooting concepts. A VCTA-DCV holder also has a working knowledge of managing cloud resources and basic networking concepts.
