Tip of the Week: Before Your Interview

Yes, the interview process is necessary.  No, your resume by itself is not sufficient to “sell” an employer on your qualifications.  And no, networking alone will typically not eliminate the need for at least an informal interview or discussion.

So with that being said, preparing yourself to excel during an interview is critical to you getting the job.  There is no need to be nervous or fear, answers are here!  It’s just like preparing for an exam—the more you properly prepare, the better outcome you will receive.

A Cisco Success Story

I attended a resume writing seminar & conducted mock phone interviews with a Microtrain career counselor. These two activities gave me a leg up on distinguishing myself from all the other people looking for work.
